Close the gap
There's a disconnect between our community and law enforcement. I'll build stronger relationships between deputies and the people they serve.
I'm not a politician. I'm a law enforcement officer. 21 years of experience, commitment, and a heart for service, and I'm ready to work for you.
This isn't simply a place where I work. It's a community deeply connected to my family and my life.
I grew up in Earle, Arkansas, and have lived in Forrest City for nine years. My wife's family is from St. Francis County, and three of my youngest children attend school here.
I'm running for Sheriff because our community deserves leadership that is experienced, accountable, engaged, and committed to making St. Francis County a safer and stronger place to live.
I believe in serving my community whenever I can. Whether it's helping distribute food at Thanksgiving and Christmas or simply showing up when my neighbors need help, community service is something I believe in, not just something I talk about during an election.
Those years taught me what leadership really means: showing up, taking responsibility, preparing your people, and putting the community first.
I've pursued every class, certification, and training opportunity available to me, because the better trained our officers are, the better they can serve and protect our community.
But some of the most meaningful work isn't recognized with an award.
There's a disconnect between our community and law enforcement. I'll build stronger relationships between deputies and the people they serve.
Better support, better opportunities, and competitive pay, so we attract and keep officers with a genuine passion for protecting this county.
Our jail should do more than process people. Where appropriate: rehabilitation, accountability, and a path back to being productive members of our community.
Lock your doors, go to sleep at night, and know your sheriff's department is working to protect you, your family, and your property.
This campaign isn't about tearing anyone down. It's about building something better.
I have no ill will toward our current sheriff or anyone else in this race. I'm running because St. Francis County needs a sheriff who will listen, who will lead, who will invest in our deputies, who will work with our communities, and who will bring people together.
I want to pour love, service, accountability, and leadership into this community.
St. Francis County deserves a sheriff who will always put our community first, invest in our community, and restore integrity to law enforcement. With experience, commitment, and a heart for service, I'm ready to work for you.
On November 3rd, vote Lt. Tommy Hampton Jr. for St. Francis County Sheriff & Collector.
